How to add information on the processing of personal data of users to the site

When a user on your site submits a form (for example, leaves a review, fills in an application for photo shooting or makes a payment), he provides his personal data. Personal data is the data that can be used to identify a person: name, phone number, email, links to social networks. In accordance with the law, you need to request the user’s consent to the processing of his personal data.

To obtain the user’s consent to the processing of personal data, it is necessary to place a notice next to each form on the site and publish the «Privacy Policy».

How to enable notification

• Go to the Informers settings and in the section «Consent to the processing of personal data» enable this notification.

How to add a Privacy Policy page

• Go to the Pages section and add a new custom page called Privacy Policy. In this case, leave the switch «Display in the site menu» off.

• After creating the page, click on the «Make it by yourself» link and add any text block. Paste your privacy policy into this textbox. Save the changes.

• Copy the link to the page to add it to the notification for the processing of personal data. Click on the «Actions» button and copy the link.

• Go back to  Informers page. In the block «Consent to the processing of personal data» add text and paste a link to the «Privacy Policy» page.

• You can also paste the link in the text at the bottom of the site. Go to the Main settings section and in the Text at ther bottom of the site field add information about the privacy policy and paste the link to the «Privacy Policy» page.
