How to create a product or service and add it to a website
You can add an item to the website or to any project on drive that can be purchased immediately or leave a purchase order.
To sell goods, connect a payment system in Shop → Payment services. To select and connect a payment system, see the article 📖 Payment systems.
How to create a product
Let's go step by step through how to create a product in the Shop:
Go to Shop → Products and click on the «Add Product» button.
Write the title and description of the product and add images of it.
By activating the «Allow quantity selection» switch, you allow your customers to select the quantity of an item when purchasing or ordering.
If you plan to sell products, activate the «Specify price» switch. The «Price» field is mandatory, specify the price of the product in it. The «Price without discount» field is optional, here you can specify the old price of the product.
If you do not activate the «Accept online payment» switch, the item can be ordered online without payment. If you activate the switch, customers will be able to pay for the item online.
If you need the customer to provide additional information when purchasing (like email, phone number, instagram address, date, etc.), you can include and edit fields on the order form.
Customize the action after the order. You can redirect the buyer to a thank you page, to a special address (where they can download or view something), or you can send them an email.
Click on the «Add» button to add the item to your product list.
When adding online payment acceptance, be sure to test it yourself.
How to add a product to the website
You have created a product. Now you need to add it to the page of your site. After successfully connecting the payment system, you will be able to set the «Accept payment» action on the buttons and add your own goods or services.
Let's break down step-by-step how to do this:
Fill the page with the necessary information with the description of the product (or products). Click on the «+» button to add new blocks.
In a suitable place add a block with a button - clicking on it will open a payment window.
Highlight the button and click on the «Settings» icon.
In the setup window, go to the «Accepting Payment» section and select the desired product from the list.
Click on the «Save» button.
After saving the changes, you can see how the button to pay for the product will look like.
After adding the buttons, be sure to test the payment acceptance on the site yourself.
How to add an “Order” button to the website
Clicking on the button opens an application form for you to fill out and mail to you.
With the "Order" button you can create and customize a form that will be filled out by your clients and sent to your email.
Such buttons are used on pages with the description of services, to sign up for master classes, webinars, to download guides, checklists and so on. The range of uses is very wide.
Let's break down step by step how to make a button with an application form:
On the Custom page, click on the «+» button to add a block.
In the «Buttons» section, select any block.
Click on the «Settings» icon to add actions to the button.
In the application window, open the «Application window» tab. Select a service from the drop-down list.
Click on the «Save» button.
After saving your changes, you can see how the «Apply» button will look like on the website.
