How to create a favorites list

How to select photos on the drive project and copy favorite lists for Lightroom and Capture On

How to do it step by step:

  • Check if it is allowed to create favorites lists on the project. To allow access to creating favorites lists, click on the «Settings» button, go to the «Favorites» tab and allow access. Save the changes.

You can create a favorites list in two ways: through the control panel and through the client-side project view.

How to create a favorites list from the control panel

  • Go to the "Favorites" tab and click on the "Add List" button.

  • Enter your client's name.

If you have several lists for the same client, then you can enter any name you like to distinguish the lists.

  • You have created a favorites list for a client. Now you can copy the link to the list by clicking on the ellipsis and send it to the client for selection of photos.

So your client can select the photos they need for the list that you have already created.

How to create a list through project view

  • Click on the «View on site» button to switch to the viewing project mode.

  • Click on the heart icon.

If you have several lists for the same client, then you can enter any name you like to distinguish the lists.

  • After creating the list, you or your client will copy the link to the list.

To return to the list, enter the customer's name or the name of a previously created list. You can also enter the already created list using the copied link.

  • You have created a list and now you can choose files. By clicking on the heart in the upper right corner, you can see all the selected photos.

  • The client can leave comments on each photo by clicking on the comment icon.

  • After you have finished selecting photos, click on the Complete the selection button. You will be suggested to leave a comment on the whole list of favorites.

  • Return to the control panel, refresh the page. Click on the "Favorites" tab to view the created lists.

  • Statuses are displayed in the lists. Lists with a status of "In progress" are incomplete lists, and lists with a status of "Completed" are completed.

Under all lists, you can see the contacts and a comment that the client left when creating the list.
