How to add a file for downloading
You can add a downloadable file to the site, for example, a guide, price list, archive, photo, video, manual, and so on.
How to do it step by step:
Click on the icon «Copy link».
Add a block with a button on the page, in order to do that click on the «+».
Select a block with a button.
Now you can place a link to download the file in two ways:
Downloading when clicking the button.
Downloading after filling in the form.
Let’s look at each option.
Download when clicking on the button
Hover course over the button and click the «⚙️ Settings» icon on it.
In the modal window, select the «External link» tab and paste the copied link to the file.
As a result, website visitors will be able to download the file by clicking on the button.
Download after filling out the form
Use this method if you want to collect contacts when downloading files. After downloading, you will receive an email with the data that the visitors left.
Hover course over the button and click the «⚙️ Settings» icon on it.
In the modal window, select the «Contact form» tab and click on the «New service» button.
In the opened window, write the name and description of the service. Paste the copied link to the file in the field «Go to the page».
Edit the fields for the form and click the «Add» button. Save the changes after adding.
As a result, by clicking on the button, a contact form opens, and the file will be downloaded after filling in.
