# Videos on the site

Video is a great way to make your website more engaging and informative. You can upload videos from your device.

You can also add videos hosted on **YouTube**, **Vimeo**, **Kinescope**.

### Supported Formats

✔ Size — up to 500 MB.

✔ Format — MP4 or MOV.

✔ Horizontal and vertical.

✔ Codec – h.264 (AVC) or h.265 (HEVC)

## Upload a video

You can create a video [cover](/site/en/pages/manage/page-cover.md#video-cover) or a video banner.

You can also upload videos directly to the **Gallery** or **Photo and video** blocks. Videos can be viewed in fullscreen mode with sound here.

* Create or open a custom page, blog post, or announcement.
* Click the <mark style="background-color:$primary;">(</mark><mark style="background-color:$primary;">**+**</mark><mark style="background-color:$primary;">)</mark> button to add a new block and choose a block from the **Galleries**, **Photo and video**, **Contacts**, **Buttons** or **Widgets** tab.

* Upload a video.

You can enable autoplay. The video will start automatically on the page **without sound**.

To enable autoplay:

* for the **Gallery** block: click the **Autoplay** icon (▷) above the video.

* for the other blocks: click **Settings** and switch the **Autoplay** toggle.

### How to Upload a video to an Album

You can embed a video in an album via a link. To upload a video directly, convert the album into [a custom page](/site/en/blocks/add-blocks-to-album.md).

## Embed video

You can embed videos hosted on **YouTube**, **Vimeo**, **Kinescope** to:

* &#x20;a [Custom page and blocks](/site/en/pages/custom-page.md);
* an [album](/site/en/protfolio/add-albums-galleries.md#how-to-add-an-album).

## How to make a video portfolio

The most common video portfolio ideas are:

* A separate custom page with a random combination of video blocks.
* Album gallery with one video per album.
* An album page with videos.
